DESCRIPTION:To Breathe or Not to Breathe\, That Is the Question \nThis workshop explores positional asphyxia (breathplay) and how body positioning\, movement\, and rope can affect breathing. With a focus on understanding the physiology and mechanics of breathing to approach breathplay with greater intention\, precision\, and care. \nWe’ll examine how rope and body position interact\, recognise the effects of different positions\, and explore how observation and awareness can shape a scene. We’ll also introduce additional breathplay concepts that complement these dynamics. \nThe aim is to build a deeper understanding of breathing\, body mechanics\, and bodily responses when incorporating these dynamics into rope play. Giving you the foundations to adapt these concepts to any tie. \nWorkshop Objectives: \n•⁠  ⁠Understand the anatomy and physiology of breathing \n•⁠  ⁠⁠Explore the physical and psychological considerations of breathplay \n•⁠  ⁠⁠Understand how body positioning and rope affect breathing to use in all future scenes \n•⁠  ⁠⁠Some additional mean tips and tricks that you can use to easily increase intensity of breathplay scenes \nNote: This workshop will show a suspension based demo as last exercise but participants of all levels are welcome to join this workshop since both Gala and Pen will suggest adaptations suitable for everyone. \nPre-requisites: \n•⁠  ⁠For riggers: Solid foundations (single column tie\, double column tie\, frictions\, reverse tension\, kanuki and structural upper and lower body harness). \n•⁠  ⁠⁠For bottoms: Good understanding and monitoring of their body. \n•⁠  ⁠For both: Good\, clear and direct communication between rigger and bottom.

Esta vez nos acompañarán Marc y Alice que no dudarán en subir bien la temperatura del encuentro\, dejandonos bien preparadas para la kinky-jam posterior. \n\nSi quieres saber más sobre ellas: \n\nMarc Akuaku is an international rigger based in Tokyo. \n\nHe discovered ropes in 2008 in Tokyo swingers’ bars\, fascinated by Shibari’s potential in the bedroom to create new forms of stimulation and positions. He started teaching in 2012 and\, in 2020\, published The Japanese Rope Kamasutra\, a project combining 48 sessual positions with rope.\nSince then\, he has been traveling regularly across Europe and Asia\, offering workshops dedicated to sensual and sexual rope\, and is recognized for combining technical solidity with intensity and eroticism. \n\nAlice in Nawaland was introduced to the art of shibari in 2018 and quickly became enamored with Al-Walthery’s skillful sad¡st¡c ties. Their partnership has continued to this day\, with Alice teaching alongside Al-Walthery in Liège and Brussels. \n\nShe has been featured on stage by renowned riggers including Yoi Yoshida\, Marc Akuaku\, and Tati Limati and performing together with Al-Walthery at Onawa Asobi festival in Shibari Lounge in 2024. \n\nIn 2023\, she joins Studio TIEY. She becomes the teaching model for Michael Ropeknight\, known for his empathetic\, intuitive\, and unique approach\, and performs with Yagami Ren\, who explores the duality between pleasure and pain. She also headlines with Naka sensei in his 2025 Nawa Kai at the studio. \n\nShe is highly sought after as a model for both photography and public performances\, known for her pure and expressive emotions that she exudes during the intense connections she creates.

DESCRIPTION:Un predicament es una configuración o un tipo de escena diseñada para poner al modelo en un dilema físico o mental. \nLa esencia de un predicament es que la persona atada queda atrapada en una posición donde cualquier acción que tome para buscar alivio o cambiar de postura genera una consecuencia inevitable\, lo que genera dinámicas de juego y comunicación de especial intensidad en semenawa. \nEl objetivo del curso es el de utilizar este tipo de dinámicas para aprender a realizar semisuspensiones\, a incorporar bambús en las estructuras\, y explorar el uso de Ma 間 (espacio negativo / intervalo). \nRequisitos \nEste es un curso de semenawa en el que las personas atadas estarán en situaciones de desafío físico y psicológico. Todos los ejercicios son opcionales y se harán al nivel que cada binomio determine. Habrá ejercicios multinivel para poder adaptarnos a todos los perfiles. \nTendremos a 4 instructores del Dojo durante este curso. \n\nHaber hecho el nivel 2 (Takate) y haber practicado. El takate debe ser solido y estable bajo carga.\nEn caso de no ser alumnos de Madrid Shibari Dojo contáctanos para una evaluación de nivel personalizada.\nSe debe acudir en pareja atante/modelo con roles definidos.\nSon necesarias un mínimo de 7 cuerdas de yute de 7/8/9 m de largo y de entre 5 o 6 mm de diámetro. Recomendamos usar cuerdas single ply para este curso. Si no tenéis cuerdas suficientes\, nos podéis comprar cuerdas tratadas (o nos lo podéis decir al hacer la reserva y os las preparamos).\nEs imprescindible acudir con una herramienta de seguridad adecuada. No se podrá hacer el curso sin herramienta de seguridad.\nRecordad al elegir cómo vestís\, que el Kinbaku es una disciplina erótica.\nEs necesario acudir con un bambú.
